Turn a GitHub issue into a pull request by mentioning the agent
With the GitHub Action installed, writing @claude in an issue or pull-request comment makes the agent analyse the code, implement the change and push commits for review.
Steps
- Install the GitHub app and add the workflow file
- Store the API key as a repository secret
- Write @claude plus a clear request in an issue; review the PR it opens
Starter prompt
@claude The date on the invoice PDF shows in US format. Change it to DD.MM.YYYY for German customers only, add a test, and open a pull request.
